How to set up a POP3/IMAP email account in your email client




We provide these details to allow you to read and reply to emails received using your web hosting package. These settings are the same whether your operating system is Windows, Mac OS X or Linux.

To set your POP3 or IMAP email address up you will need to provide the following details:

Method: POP3 or IMAP can be used

Username: [your email address] (eg. me@mydomain.com)

Password: [your password]

Incoming Mail Server: mail.[yourdomain] (eg. mail.mydomain.com)

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.[yourdomain] (eg. mail.mydomain.com)

The outgoing mail server requires authentication to send. The same username and password as for inbound email can be used.
